Why fit a new loom
Old Lambretta looms are the single biggest cause of electrical gremlins on a restoration. Perished insulation, green corroded terminals and previous owners’ bodged repairs give you intermittent lights, a dead horn and no spark, and you will spend more hours chasing faults than a new loom costs. Starting with fresh wire and clean terminals means you wire it once and ride it.

Important, please read before ordering: This loom is for 12 volt electronic ignition, AC type only. It will not work on a 6 volt points system, and it is not the DC loom. If your scooter is running the original points setup, or you have a DC regulator and battery conversion, this is the wrong loom for you. If you are not certain which system you have, send us a photo of your stator plate and regulator and we will tell you which loom you need before you buy.
